gives ability to be independant
The lift seat is such a help. And the fact that it allows you to lay flat is also a big plus for us.
We found it a little narrower than we expected for the medium sized chair.

The lift mechanism.
They only thing I have is the zipper keeps coming out and I have to tuck it back in to the chair. That's annoying!
