Comet 332 HD w/ Removable Armrests

It is lightweight, it moves about easily on a smooth non porous surface..I like the fact that it has rear brakes on it. I realize this is a transport chair not a wheelchair per say, for that purpose it is great, but it serves my purpose pretty good at this point and time in my life..I have osteoarthritis in my hips, shoulders, lower back and other joints and I have had bilateral knee replacements. It is hard for me to stand or walk for any length of time This chair serves the purpose for me right now.

it is hard to manuever on carpet, it does not roll on carpet well when moving around by yourself..the seat could be a little wider in depth it has a tendency to be uncomfortable for the backs of your upper legs.especially if you are a larger person like I am... which makes the seat uncomfortable if you have to set in it for very long, I think making the seat a little deeper would add to the comfort of the chair. also I am always hitting or running over my feet with the front wheels since they are always turning in various directons.it is hard sometimes to get up close to things, such as the sink, or counter tops in the kitchen..a wheelchair would probably have been a better choice since I am using it more for getting around in the house rather then going out, but I thought this type of chair would be better for my purpose since I don't need to be confined to it 24/7 and I can use my legs to move the chair around in the house..and it is lightweight and I can fold it up and take it with me when I do go out, a little easier then taking a wheelchair..

It is perfect for using when I can not or do not want to use my walker. The light weight is important because of my husbands back.

I am a 60 year old female and I have severe arthritis and an autoimmune disorder. I am unable to walk or stand for more than about 3 minutes

It fits thru doorways in my house and is very easy to get around in the house.

The only thing I feel it lacks is I can't use by myself. There is nothing I could use to make it go by myself.

Good product for transportation. Built secure. The chair is excellent for what I bought it for.

Arms are a little hard to remove. They seem to stick when trying to lift out of slots. Back isn't made for comfort so don't buy with the intention of spending the day in the chair.It's made great for transporting.

Patient is 67 and has neuropathy in both legs. Has no use of the right arm and limited use in the left arm.

The rubber wheels roll very well outdoors.

The nylon heel straps on the foot rests aren't effective. Instead of a strap, the foot rests should have some sort of lip at the end of the foot rest to support the user's heel. Also, metal foot rests would have been preferred. The durability of the plastic foot rests appears very questionable.
