Overview
The ELK Emergency Lifting Cushion by Prism Medical is an on-the-spot solution in the event of a fall or accident. This unique lifting device features an easy-to-use system that helps lift a user off of the floor after a fall or accident. The ELK Emergency Lifting Cushion has four “levels” of the cushion that inflate one at a time, allowing you to inflate the ELK to your desired height.
What Makes This Different
The ELK Emergency Lifting Cushion provides a safe, convenient way to assist a user when they’ve fallen. By using a safe rolling technique, the ELK can be easily placed under a fallen user. The simple, one-touch controls of the Battery AirFlow inflation system allow the caregiver to focus on ensuring that the user stays supported and safe while the cushion inflates. The ELK is able to be used independently, in the event that the user falls alone.

The ELK is lightweight and compact, allowing it to be easily transported to wherever it’s needed. With the simple push of a button, the lift inflates to your desired level. Just one more simple push and the lift deflates for easy storage. Though the ELK is lightweight and easy to tote around, it features a heavy weight capacity, with the ability to lift up to 1000 pounds. This, paired with the ability to be used both indoors and outside help make the ELK Emergency Lifting Cushion a versatile solution in the event of a fall or accident.
WARRANTY
Warranty Information
In addition to the warranty policy stated in every User Manual, Prism Medical is communicated the following requirements to submit a warranty claim.
- Prism Medical guarantees all equipment, which includes Ceiling Lifts, Floor Lifts, Bathroom Safety, Slings, Service Parts, and Track and accessories, supplied as new, against failure within the period of 1 year from date of installation or 18 months from date of manufacturing, whichever is shorter, by virtue of defects in material or workmanship.
- Prism medical guarantees all refurbished equipment supplied against failure within a period of three months from date of installation or six months from date of purchase, whichever is shorter.
- This guarantee does not apply to failure attributable to normal wear and tear, damage by natural forces, user neglect or misuse or to deliberate destruction, or to batteries more than 90 days after original purchase.
- This guarantee shall be void if the equipment is not serviced by Prism Medical or its authorized service agents in accordance with the manufacturer's recommendations or if any unauthorized person carries out works on the equipment.
- The liability of Prism Medical under the terms of this guarnatee shall be limited tot he replacement of defective parts and in no event shall Prism Medical incur liability for any consequential or unforeseeable losses.
RETURNS
Return Policy
- The following conditions apply:
- This item has a 20% Restocking Fee.
- You are responsible for the cost of return shipping. The product must new and unused and in the original packaging.
- All accessories and items that were included in the box must be returned.
- Items canceled after the product has already shipped will be considered a return.
- Delivery and service fees are not refundable.
- Mattresses ordered with beds are non-returnable.
- Custom-made by the manufacturer to suit your specific needs are non-returnable.
- An RA (Return Authorization) from SpinLife must be requested within 30 days of delivery.
- The item must be shipped back to the address noted on the RA within 15 days.
- Once approved, your refund, minus any restocking and freight fees, will be issued to your original form of payment.
