Upholstery Options for the VivaLift! Legacy
The Legacy is one of the newest models in Pride's VivaLift!® Power Recliner line. The Legacy features an overstuffed button style backrest for cozy comfort. The power headrest and lumbar allow you to tailor positioning to your needs. A full chaise pad with leg rest extension provides full support from knees to toes. The Legacy is designed for putting your feet up and relax in comfort and style.
What Makes It Different:
The contoured seat provides optimal cradling to provide a secure seating area as well as support for those who need assistance from sliding or leaning. The button style backrest is a reminder to the classic styling of the longtime Pride favorite the LC-358 Heritage Collection. As an improvement on the LC-358, the Legacy comes standard with a footrest extension for taller users or full lower leg and foot support for average height to shorter users. Also standard, are a power adjustable head and lumbar pillow. The easy-to-use hand control features a USB charging port, allowing you to charge your phone or tablet in the chair without the need for extension cords that could tangle in the lift chair. A lithium battery backup gives you the security to know the chair will still function in case of a power outage.
Why We Like It:
The Legacy is all about personal comfort. The contour seat provides a cradling feel while preventing sliding as you recline to your desired position. The overstuffed back provides cloud-like padding needed for a long relaxing nap or the serenity that is ideal for enjoying a good book or watching your favorite movie. The Legacy can lay flat for sleeping or lounging as well as sit upright for conversation. If you prefer to recline for back relaxation but still watch television, you can do so by raising your head with the power headrest. If your back requires a little additional support, this too can easily be accomplished with simple adjustments from the push of a button on your remote.
Unboxing Your Pride Lift Chair. Pride lift chairs ship wrapped in protective plastic inside a carton on a wooden pallet. Once unboxed, you’ll need to attach the back to the seat. Slide the forks on the backrest into the receivers on the base; you’ll hear it click into place. After assembly, it’s usually best to have two people lift the chair off the wooden pallet and into the home. There will be a few twist ties around the power cords and remote cable to remove.
