With the extended range edition, your power chair can travel up to 18.4 miles on a single charge.  This new power wheelchair has a revolutionary design that features a power elevating seat that raises an additional 10 inches in just 16 seconds! The most unique aspect of the power elevating seat is that it can raise or lower while the unit is in motion. Getting to your desired elevation is convenient and allows you participate in life as it’s happening. Imagine that you’re headed to a high-top table. With a normal power elevating seat, you have to wait to get to the table before you can raise the seat. With the ability to raise and lower the seat while you’re in motion, the Jazzy Air allows you to participate in the present. When the seat is fully elevated, you can enjoy conversations with your friends and loved ones face-to-face.

What Makes This Different

You don’t need to sacrifice any other features for the benefit of the power elevating seat; with the Jazzy Air, you’ll still have it all. Mid-wheel drive provides an excellent turning radius of just 22.5” for optimum maneuverability, even in tight spaces. The Jazzy Air features Active-Trac® Suspension which provides superior stability in both raised and lowered positions. At full elevation, the Air goes up to 3.5 mph, and 4 mph when fully lowered. It also has an impressive drive range of 18.4 miles with the extended range version. There are three different seat sizes to choose from, and unlike other power wheelchairs with elevating seats, the footplate on the Air actually moves simultaneously with the seat as it’s moving up or down. The footplate is angle adjustable and has three different height adjustments. The armrests are also adjustable by height, angle, and depth so you’re sure to be comfortable in the Air.

What You Need To Know When Ordering

If ordered before 1 PM with all standard options, this item ships the same business day from the warehouse via FREE curbside or inside delivery. If you have selected White Glove Delivery, expect an additional 1 – 2 business days before it leaves the warehouse. Your Jazzy Air Extended Range unit will ship in two separate boxes. One box will contain your Jazzy Air unit and the second package will contain the extended range battery.  The batteries must be installed on the unit.

Delivery Options

Complimentary set-up by a certified Pride technician is optional as well as one year of in-home service. Certified technician set-up time varies by location. The technician set-up is not a white glove service as the technician comes out after delivery. For users who require extra assistance in unpacking their power chair a White Glove Delivery Service is available. With White Glove Delivery, your power chair is brought into your home, set up, tested and all packaging material is removed.
