Overview
The Travel-Ease Folding Power Chair has the more discreet look of a manual wheelchair while still packing the punch of a traditional power wheelchair. With a max speed of 4 mph and a range of up to 18 miles when fully charged, this chair can go the extra mile. The foam-filled tires are durable and ideal for worry-free roaming. As the seat width increases so does the weight capacity. Please see the chart below for weight capacities. The chair also has an adjustable back from 15" - 19" so you're sure to get the perfect fit. What Makes It Different
As the name suggests, The Travel-Ease Folding Power Chair is easily transportable and storable, so it can travel with you wherever you go. The battery bracket is foldable. Simply remove the batteries and your wheelchair folds up. The footrests are also completely removable, making it easy to fit the Travel-Ease into small spaces. Charging your chair is also a breeze with the charging location easily accessible just under the controller.
Why We Like It
The Travel-Ease chair is perfect for use indoors or outdoors, as well as in tight spaces. It has a turning radius of just 24", so maneuverability is not an issue. This chair also features a programmable controller, so you can adjust the settings to fit the needs of the occupant. We like the heavy-duty models for their ample seat widths and robust motors.
What to Expect When Ordering
Curbside delivery is free. The Travel-Ease Folding Power Chair is great for traveling and transporting but it does weigh more than 100 pounds. Because of this heavy weight, you may want to consider purchasing a vehicle lift to transport your Travel-Ease chair. | Seat
Depth1 Measure from the most posterior point of the body to the inside of the knee, minus at least two inches. Some prefer more leg overhang to make room for their hand when lifting their leg. Back Height2 Measured from the seat base to the top of the chair back. Power wheelchair riders need upper back support, particularly for the moment of initial acceleration. Hanger Angle3 Determines how far the toes extend away from the body, measured from the horizontal. A tighter angle allows the electric power wheelchair to turn around in less space. Depends in part on ability of the knee to bend towards the perpendicular. Seat Width4 Determined by the widest point of the body from knee to hip, plus an inch to ensure room to move. Consider bulk of clothing, particularly a heavy winter coat, if relevant. Front Seat to Floor5 Measure the leg from the back of the knee to the sole of the foot. Then subtract the thickness of the cushion when it is compressed. Next, add a minimum of two inches for footrest clearance. Electric power wheelchairs are almost never foot-propelled by the user - so excluding the additional two inch footrest height for propelling is very rare. |

Warranty Information
Merits Health Products, Inc. warrants the main frame against defects in material and workmanship for the lifetime expectancy of this power chair (5 years).
For one (1) year from the date of purchase, Merits will replace at their option to the original purchaser, free of charge, any of the following parts found upon examination by an authorized representative in the material or workmanship: Electronic controllers, harnesses, chargers, motors. Labor charges incurred in the installation or repair of the above mentioned parts plus all freight charges are not included in the warranty.
Warranty exclusions: Tires, plastic or rubber parts, upholstery/armpads, painted surfaces, seating, bearings.
Merits Health Products, Inc. will repair or replace parts as required, provided that an authorization for such return has been acquired by an established dealer and that the part or parts in question are returned fully insured with freight prepaid to us within the prescribed period of warranty. Labor charges incurred in the installation or repair of the above mentioned parts plus all freight charges are not included in the warranty.
Merits Health Products, Inc will not warranty any parts damaged by improper installation and/or repair on the part of the individual owner’s neglect, accident or misuse, nor those parts altered or serviced by an agency not authorized by us.

- The following conditions apply:
- This item has a 20% Restocking Fee.
- You are responsible for the cost of return shipping. The product must new and unused and in the original packaging.
- All accessories and items that were included in the box must be returned.
