Overview of the Pronto M41

The Invacare Pronto M41 is a sleek and versatile power wheelchair. It features the latest technology in electronics and in-line motors for smooth turning, starting, stopping and acceleration. It also has the simple SureStep® suspension, which keeps six wheels on the ground at all times. This provides an incredible amount of stability without sacrificing speed or maneuverability. 

What Makes This Different
This comfortable power wheelchair is available with a plush van-style seat with semi-recline. Plus, it also has a 300 lb weight capacity so it’s suitable for slightly larger individuals. This is also the only power chair under $3000 with a 17 mile battery range, you can go longer between charges.

What You Need to Know When Ordering
The Pronto M41 requires minimal assembly. Fully charge the batteries prior to installing. If you would like assistance setting up your chair, select the white glove delivery option. This delivery selection ensures that a professional agent will receive your chair, deliver it to your home at your convenience and set-up the chair and ensure it is in proper working order. Though our White Glove Delivery option includes the set-up of your power chair, comfort adjustments, like foot rest height, will need to be done by the caregiver or user.
The M41 also comes with a free year of in-home service that covers the cost of a technician. If you would like to extend this option, select a two-year or three-year service contract.

Measuring Guide

Seat Depth1 Measure from the most posterior point of the body to the inside of the knee, minus at least two inches. Some prefer more leg overhang to make room for their hand when lifting their leg. Back Height2 Measured from the seat base to the top of the chair back. Power wheelchair riders need upper back support, particularly for the moment of initial acceleration. Hanger Angle3 Determines how far the toes extend away from the body, measured from the horizontal. A tighter angle allows the electric power wheelchair to turn around in less space. Depends in part on ability of the knee to bend towards the perpendicular. Seat Width4 Determined by the widest point of the body from knee to hip, plus an inch to ensure room to move. Consider bulk of clothing, particularly a heavy winter coat, if relevant. Front Seat to Floor5 Measure the leg from the back of the knee to the sole of the foot. Then subtract the thickness of the cushion when it is compressed. Next, add a minimum of two inches for footrest clearance. Electric power wheelchairs are almost never foot-propelled by the user - so excluding the additional two inch footrest height for propelling is very rare.
