The Mighty-Lite Scooter Carrier from Great Day is a fully manual, lightweight, aluminum carrier that weighs 42 lbs. Simple to operate, the Mighty-Lite does not require batteries, motors, or remotes and is designed to fit all regular 2" hitch receivers.  The minimum ground clearance of 10" and its 7" side rails provide added security.  
  
What Makes This Different
With a weight limit of 500 lbs, this American made carrier is a good choice for most scooters and power wheelchairs.  Gripping ridges are included on the platform and loading ramp to prevent your mobility unit from slipping during the loading process.  The platform includes 4 tie-down eyelets that make stabilizing your mobility device easier and more effective.
 
Why We Like It
This stylish lightweight carrier is easy to install and has a 60" loading ramp.  When the carrier is not in use the ramp can be folded flat onto the platform.  Quick clip pins secure the carrier's folding ramp in either the flat or folded position and a strong powder-coat enamel  finish protects the frame from everyday use and harsh weather.

What You Need to Know
Two straps are provided with the carrier to secure your power chair or scooter to the Mighty-Lite.  The optional Great Day hitch Stabilizer is recommended to help eliminate "hitch wobble" which is a normal occurrence that is experienced with carriers.
