Overview

The EW-36SL by EWheels is a fun and stylish scooter that is fantastic for use outdoors and around town. The EW-36SL has a 18 mph top speed and can travel up to 43 miles per charge. The EW-36SL is equipped with high-end features that truly make it a pleasure to drive. The throttle is a twist-throttle design for variable speed control and smooth, electromagnetic brakes. The EW-36SL has an 4" ground clearance so it can handle a variety of terrain and has rear shock absorption to reduce vibration. The 18" x 18" captain's seat features a fully reclining backrest and an adjustable headrest for the most comfortable driving position possible and flip-back armrests for easy transitions. You'll also never have to worry about leaving your scooter unattended because the EW-36SL comes with an anti-theft alarm. You'll also have plenty of storage on this scooter; there is a large compartment located beneath the seat, a roomy rear basket, and even a locking compartment located on the tiller for the safekeeping of your belongings. One of our favorite aspects of the EW-36SL is that it comes in 10 different colors so you can sport this scooter in your favorite hue.


What You Need To Know When Ordering
Your scooter will arrive curbside in a single box, fully assembled and ready to drive. However, you’ll need to remove the protective packaging and you may require the assistance of loved ones to get it off the shipping pallet.

WARRANTY

Warranty Information

Models Included

EW-10, EW-11, EW-12, EW-14, EW-19, EW-20, EW-29, EW- 36, EW-36 Elite, EW-46, EW-52, EW-54, EW-66, EW-72, EW-Vintage, EW-Bugeye.


Three Year Limited Warranty

Three (3) years from the date of purchase on all structural frame components, seat post and frame. Freight and labor costs are not included. 


One Year Limited Warranty

One (1) Year from the date of purchase, if any part or electronic component of the scooter is found upon examination to be defective in material and/or workmanship, it will be replaced at Ewheels discretion. Freight and labor costs are not included. 


Two Month Warranty

Two (2) Months from the date of purchase on the batteries. Batteries are subject to a stringent wear and tear clause. Any battery faults due to a manufacturing defect will become obvious within the first two months of use. Any gradual deterioration in performance after this period is normal and associated with fair wear and tear, misuse or accidental damage and as such is not covered by the manufacturer’s warranty. Freight and labor costs are not included. 


One Month Warranty

One (1) Month from the date of purchase on the scooter’s charger. Freight and labor costs are not included. 


WARRANTY EXCEPTIONS AND EXCLUSIONS

Service and Labor Costs

Unless previously authorized, service calls and labor costs are NOT included or covered under any warranty. The purchaser is responsible for the delivery to the authorized repair facility. Satisfactory proof of purchase is always required for warranty service. Please contact Ewheels directly for any assistance in locating a service provider or to make a warranty claim.


Consumable Items

Consumable items which may need replacing due to normal wear and tear like tires, tubes, lights, chains, upholstery and seating, brakes and brake pads, cables, fuses, buttons, shrouds and covers.


Damage, Accidental Damage and Misuse

Damaged caused by: battery fluid spillage or leakage, abuse, misuse, accident, negligence, improper operation, excessive loading, maintenance, storage, acts of God, commercial use, or use other than normal, extreme riding, modifications and alterations.


Second Hand Owners and Reselling

No warranty will be offered or honored for second hand owners. The warranty is exclusively offered to the original purchaser.


HOW TO MAKE A WARRANTY CLAIM

Initiating A Warranty Claim

To initiate a warranty claim, please contact Ewheels service department by calling 888-571-2845, or by email at “Service@ewheelsdealers.com”. Note that before any warranty claims will be fulfilled, satisfactory proof of purchase will be required, and a photo or video of the damaged part must be sent and reviewed by Ewheels.


Returning Faulty Parts

Do not return faulty parts to Ewheels without prior consent. A request for a return authorization is required prior to returning items. All transportation costs and shipping damage incurred while submitting units and/or parts for repair or replacement are the responsibility of the original purchaser.


SHIPPING DAMAGE AND SHIPPING POLICIES

Shipping Damage

In the event shipping damage occurs, it must be reported and addressed in a timely manner. Shipping damage claims are time sensitive and cannot be delayed. In the event the packaging is extremely damaged and the bike is beyond repair, please refuse the shipment, and contact Ewheels for further steps.


Shipping – Domestic

When applicable, part costs will be covered under warranty, and all warranty items will be shipped via FedEx Ground. Shipping fees will be at the expense of the purchaser.


Shipping – International

When applicable, parts will be provided under warranty at no charge, but shipping to any offshore and/or international location will be the responsibility of the original purchaser. International and offshore end-users must contact Ewheels directly to initiate the warranty process.


*Implied warranties, including those of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose, are limited to one (1) year from the date of the original purchase and to the extent permitted by law. Any and all implied warranties are excluded. This is the exclusive remedy. Liabilities for consequential damages under any and all warranties are excluded*

RETURNS

Return Policy

Please inspect your product upon delivery. If the product is damaged or is not the correct product, please refuse the delivery. If your item was delivered without a signature and is damaged or incorrect please call SpinLife Customer Service.

After 7 business days the product is no longer returnable. 

Once accepted, the following conditions apply:

  • This item has a 20% Restocking Fee and a $200 outbound freight fee.
  • You are responsible for the cost of return shipping and the product must be in the original packaging.
  • The item must be in NEW condition; unused. Indications of use include, but are not limited to: Cracks, scratches, dirty tires, wear to seats and armrests, damage to charging ports, 
  • All accessories and chargers included in the box must be returned. EX. Chargers, key fobs, baskets, and additional colored shrouds. Accessories not included in box, those purchased separately, do not have to be returned as part of a return.
  • Items canceled after the product has already shipped will be considered a return.
  • Unfortunately, delivery service fees, including Next-Day and Overnight shipping fees, Inside Delivery, White Glove Delivery and Tech Set-Up are not refundable.
     

Return Process:

  • Request an RA (Return Authorization) from SpinLife within 7 days of delivery acceptance.
  • Once the RA has been issued from SpinLife, ship the item back to the address noted on the RA within 14 days.
  • Once the product is received it will be inspected for damage and signs of use. If item shows any signs of use, SpinLife is unfortunately not able to issue a refund. In the event your item is not returnable we will contact you and you can decide if you’d like it shipped back.  You will be responsible for shipping fees to get the item back to you.
  • Once approved, your refund, minus any restocking fees, will be refunded to your original form of payment.
