The battery back-up could be convenient in the event of a power outage, but I wish you could by-pass it as I like to unplug major appliances if not in use, and it is inconvenient to do so as you have to remove the batteries to keep from depleting the power. A rechargable system would be a real plus

Ease of use. It is very easy for my Dad to get out of the chair by himself, which is something he was unable to do prior to getting the chair. This chair is more firm, which is actually better for him. And he likes the fact that he doesn't have to rely anymore on someone to help him get out of the chair.

Haven't found any yet. I am a little concerned about the wear of the fabric. But so far, no problems.
