Reliant 350 Stand Up Lift w/Low Base: Review
Able to move him to the chair, etc.
Have trouble with the carpet. Perhaps larger wheels would help .

The patient is 83. Had a broken head of the rt.femur and pelvis. Slight stroke. After 10 weeks of therapy still unable to walk.
The stand up lift will do the work for the patient.
The stand up lift is compacted and easy to use.
The sling slips slowly and doesn't support consistenly. The price for the product is higher than average, the patient has not a specific area where he can grab to feel secure.

This product is for my father who is unable to walk and has really weak legs that challenges his capabilty to stand by himself.
Transfers from wheelchair to bed are much safer both for...
Easy to use and the transport sling works well for us.
The standing sling doesn't stay in place at the waist no matter how tightly it's pulled in. (It rides up his trunk to his underarms and is uncomfortable.)

My 88 yr. old father who is wheelchair-bound from a stroke since 2003.
Reliant 350 Stand Up Lift w/Low Base: Review
Easy to use
The foot plate does not fit between the front wheels of an electric wheelchair. Therefore, it is not possible to roll the lift close enough to the patient.

My 84 yr. old mom had a stroke and has difficulty transferring from bed to toilet to wheelchair.
Great help to lift dead weight!
Easy mobility, electric much better than manual.
Should have greater distance between knee/leg guard and where the patient actually sits. Reach over bed or comode is not deep enough.

My daughter has MS and has no use of her legs and limited use of her arms and hands
It has been very helpful in keeping him mobile.
The ability of being able to get my husband lifted.I have recommended it to some other ALS patients I have met. For some reason our DR. was not supportive of this at all. It helps keep a consistent transfer.
The brace could use some sort of padding for under the arms. When lifting him it puts pressure in that area.
dana d. from providence, nc (caregiver)
Dana is my husband and he is 50 years old. He was diagnosed with ALS last March. He declined very fast.
Helps lift with ease but would recommend belt tie in front...
ease of use
the belt system. Needs to be easier to adjust. Maybe velcro??
