Transfer Bench-Standard Padded W/Commode Opening: Review
It is well made and would be okay for someone who can stand to transfer.
The back is too upright and there is no gap between the cushions so you can tuck the shower curtain in if you are using a tub with handheld.

It does what it is suppose to do.
It is comfortable, easy to use. Products such as this transfer bench make it easy to be independent and the padding is much more comfortable.

The bench is great, but not enough room for shower curtain to provide for movement. Older tub styles are not suited for the fit of the bench.
One transfer in the morning for shower and restroom.
This was the only product we found like this. Every other shower bench we looked at was just that a shower bench. That would have required another piece of equipment for a commode. Who has the room for all this stuff in their bathroom? With the transfer bench with commode opening, my husband can make one transfer to this bench in the morning for his bowl program (sorry SCI patients understand) and shower. Plus we only need one piece of equipment which tucks away nicely in the shower when he isn't using it. We purchased a second one to leave at our daughters house, so we don't have to transport one each time we visit. Also, this product comes apart nicely, so it should stow in a suitcase for any future travels.
