The Pollywog is an excellent chair. I placed my order...
All the basics of a heavier chair exist in this light-weight, easy to use product.
It is meant for those who are somewhat disabled. It does everything I expected and works well for me.

It's great. Nice and light and smaller than the normal...
That it has both the large and small wheels. The weight is great so much lighter than her other transport chair. Plan on using this for travel so she can get around by herself instead of having to be pushed all the time. It appears to be very well built, but time will tell as we take mom everywhere with us. That means we put a lot of miles on the chair. I would like to thank your staff for the help in returning the first chair and getting the second chair out to us. I ordered it on line and the only dimensions shown were for the narrower chair, so I ordered the wider chair. Needless to say, it wouldn't fit through the doors in the house because the house is not ADA. Your staff was great. Can't say enough good things about the ones that I worked with. Keep up the good work.
The only weakness is the usual one with wheelchairs. Mom complains about the seat not being soft enough. Haven't had it long enough for any other evaluation.

Pollywog meets my needs perfectly!
It is light enough for me to get it into and out of my car while I'm sitting in the driver's seat. The large w/c wheels are relatively easy to attach and detach. The seat is padded and comfortable even without a cushion. It has freed me from being totally dependent on others for rides to doctors, church, visits to family and friends, even grocery stores. I love it!
Being aluminum, care must be taken not to force it to close. Mine developed a problem and would not close; a friend inadvertently forced it to close and slightly bent part of the frame. It has since been repaired and I'm not having a problem closing it. Opening the w/c from closed position is a bit difficult perhaps due to stiffness from being new; not significant enough to discontinue use. My own strength (or lack of) may figure into this. The accompanying booklet described a seatbelt being included, which I would use, but mine was delivered without a seatbelt.

quality product
The removable wheels
The weight after the wheels are removed. When folded is a little difficult for me to lift in & out of the car. I drive a Honda CRV but will probably have to upgrade to a van.

Poly-Fly: Review
The biggest strenght of the pollywog is how easy it is to use, dirabilty, and easy to use. And the price is right considering you get 2 in 1!
No weaknesses that I have come across, functions great and does the job.

I am my mother's caregiver and she is unable to walk. She is very sick and unable to walk. Her old wheel chair was to large to fit through doors in
Easy to use, helpful to bother user and caregiver
Has great versatility because of configurations.
The manufacturer's specs showed that a bag for the back came with the wheelchair. It did no.

Versatile, quality product
light weight, two types of chairs in one, folding handles help make it compact.
Putting the foot rests on is hard, but it seems that this is the case with all wheelchairs. when in the transfer chair mode, the breaks don't work well.

Very light but serious design flaw
The family loves the light weight, which makes it easy to get in the car. Removing the large wheel makes it easier for my Dad to get through tight corners around the house. Being able to fold back the handles (and remove the big wheels if necessary) really makes a compact package that should fit in any vehicle. Overall, build quality appears to be good (although one leg rest arrived damaged, wouldn't adjust properly and had to be exchanged).
A little less sturdy than his steel chair (also by Drive). Tools supplied didn't fit chair. (Fortunately, I have my own tools.) Instructions provided aren't specific to this chair so they don't show all the features and include features that aren't there. For non-technical people, may take some figuring out. Biggest flaw is that, when the big wheel is removed, the brakes still stick out. Within a week, they had been run into something and bent so they are unusable. (One look at the chair without the big wheels and you KNOW this is going to happen. Being a designer by training, I'm making guards and possibly replacing some of the aluminum brake parts with steel to prevent this from recurring.) Would be nice if the brakes had a detent in the open position. It seems like every time I try to put the big wheels on, the brake has moved to the locked position, which prevents the wheel from going all the way on. (And if you don't notice this, the wheel axle could be damaged and/or the wheel could fall off. Also, if I'm trying to do this while my Dad is still in the chair, I need one hand to lift the chair, one to insert the wheel and one to move the brake out of the way. I didn't come equipped with three hands.) Small wheel brakes aren't adjustable and are too tight for my Dad to operate so I'm going to have to get extensions for him. Although I'm used to it by now, I've always hated Drive's leg rest interface. When you try to insert the leg rests, the release handle often interferes with the bracket and its in such a position that you can't see it's happening, so it appears that some magic force is preventing you from putting the leg rest on.
