We bought this chair to take my mother to and from the doctor, store, etc. She has difficulty walking and this makes the trip easier on both of us.

The wheelchair is everything that I had hoped for and read about on previous reveiws! It is lightweight and easy to use.
easy to lift and place in car
it is light enough to place in car with ease, easy to open and is perfect for our small trips
Look out for cracks in pavement, I came across a deep crack on cement floor in Home Depot, and almost sent my father flying out of chair!

If you think you need something like this, don't wait.
I am 5'3" and I find the chair very easy to handle getting it in and out of the car (it even fits behind the front seats). It is so easy to open and close and I love that no assembly was required.
I can't think of one.

age 88 cannot walk long distances
The chair is easy to handle and serves the purpose of...
The chair's weight allows for easy storage. Its lightweight quality is its strongest asset. Legs attach with little effort. In a public place, like a restaurant, the chair can easily be compacted and put out of the way. The chair has given us a measure of flexibility that we did not have before in terms of where we go.
My husband weighs about 240 lbs. Pushing him in the chair uphill is difficult. He does not find the chair comfortable if we get into a situation where he has to simply sit in it for several minutes as in a waiting room.

I transport my husband who cannot walk distances commonly encountered in parking lots, malls, doctor's offices, etc.
