My husband had a stroke 5 years ago. He can walk a little with a cane but is mostly in a wheelchair. He is now 81 and I am 80. I am his care giver.

lightweight, easy to fold, back push bar,
metal projections where foot rest inserts have sharp edges that cause severe skin cuts and abraisions when the foot rests are off. The 2 nuts right above the front wheels are also sharp and injurious - acorn nuts would solve that problem. We put rubber furniture caps over the projections, but you could have them made smoother to start with.

It's okay, but not great.
It is light and easy to use.
The tires are not "air" tires. They only look that way. For the price of $700, I feel it should have been much better. I am keeping it, because it is better than the last wheelchair.

My dad is 89. He has dementia, Parkinson's disease, can't walk and gets confused. The wheelchair is lighter and easier to use than his previous Novac

use is sporadic, when I would otherwise be standing or walking for extended periods
A manual depicting how to use the chair would have been...
Too early to tell.
Too early to tell.

My husband suffers from MS as well as two types of cancer. Unfortunately his use of the folding wheelchair has been very limited.

It is lightweight and very easy to use.
I would have liked to have a manuel so I could troubleshoot wheel extensions or arm rest rubbing on wheel.

The ease of lifting the chair, this was why I ordered a light weight chair. It folds easily.
I don't like the fact that the arm rests aren't fixed in place.
michael y. from frederick, md (caregiver)
Super light and easy to lift into my car.
It has some shortcomings.
It truly is lightweight, and my husband who has been very ill is able to lift it. I am the user.
We needed more detailed instructions on how to adjust it. We had to take it into a shop for adjustment. Nowhere in the literature we received did it say that the wheel popped off with a press of the inner knob. The legrests are more difficult to click into firm position than I am used to. Otherwise, the characteristics are very good.
