Our relative who was visiting for two weeks slept in the chair every night and said it was very comfortable. Everyone who has used it says it is comfortable. The chair is very sturdy. I also like the fact that the leg rest has no gaps.
Minor weaknesses: Protective headrest cloth isn't attached so falls down; Up/down control rests in side pocket but it would be convenient if pocket was higher so more easily accessible; I wasn't crazy about the wine color - my fault - I was envisioning cranberry which is what I would have preferred but I don't think that is offered as one of the standard colors.

Main reason for purchase is relative who visits occasionally. Has great difficulty getting up and down due to various medical issues -- knee problems
Well built chair, quiet,
the double lift, and the removable cushion
the head rest cover needs to be attached to the chair.

61 years old, bad knees, over weigh, mental disability.
Highly recommended for the price and the features.
The chair handles his weight with ease, when lifting. The leg rest comforts his swollen legs nicely with its padding.
a little sideways wobble keeps me near the chair when he sits.

My elderly father has mobility problems and getting out of a chair is stressful for him. He loves this chair for the lift action and for the relaxing
I HAVE HAD GOOD SERVICE FROM THIS BRAND.
Since I am a larger ,heavier than average man the heavy duty chair works great for me.
The last H.D. chair I had was not as strongly built as this one.. I should not have the same break-down problems with this one. With some good welding and re-inforcing the last chair lasted over 6 years.

Very will made, quiet motor, looks good.
Well made, sturdy, quiet motor. All in all this was well worth the money and $500 cheaper than in the store here in town.
the only weakness I can think of is the head and arm covers should be velcro fastened or something. Seat is a little too hard.

Heavy duty chairs.
Arm pads fall off. Could use a longer foot rest...my mother's feet hang over the rest.

My parents are in their 70s and have difficulty getting up from chairs. We bought 2 chairs as an anniversary gift for them. They are both over 250lb
Probably the best chair you'll get at this price!
It is very sturdy and very easy to use -- just one button that make it go up or down. Perfect for seniors with bad eyesight.
None that I saw.

My mother is diabetic and has bad arthritis too.
Heritage LC-358XL 3-Position: Review
Enables the cronicly ill to be able to rise in from the chair.
The vinal is very slippery and the chair covers and headrest cover won't stay on. Blankets also slip off. That's the only negative.

My husband, Ed, is 81 years old, has Crohn's disease, fluid build-up throughout his legs and feet and has open sores on his feet.
A great chair.
All but two issues.
The chair sets low, but will raise to the height necessary to get in and out without problems. #2, the width of the foot rest, is too short, Obese people have problems with the belly separating the legs to the extent that when sleping they are pushed off of the foor rest and lay on the exposed metal hinge, OUCH!. My old chair didn't do that. Otherwise a fine chair for the money.

Bariatric 60 male, with inability to lay flat to sleep.
very nice chair
Very sturdy, strong motor, nice feel to the back.
The seat is rather hard. Wished there was a little more softness to the cushion.
