The camber angle will determine wheelchair/ overall width, handrim positioning, turning time and ease, and tire traction. By increasing the camber angle you are adding to the wheelchair's overall width. Higher camber angles may prevent access through some doorways and create uneven wear on conventional tires, but you add more lateral stability, especially for sports play, and more ergonomic positioning of pushrims. A 0° camber angle will be straight up and down like the wheel pictured.
