Strengths: Chair is easy to use and lifts people to a standing position.
Weaknesses: Legs of chair do not rise high enough without chair going all the way back. Make sure delivery is checked fully, as we thought the chair would be brought into the house and put together for us. A big dissapointment when the man plopped it into the middle of the room and said it wasn't his job to put it together, you have to pay extra for that. Luckily my husband and son were able to put it together.

Strengths: Does everything it's supposed to do - quiet mechanism
Weaknesses: The headrest and armrest covers are worthless. They slide right off - have a smooth underfinish that does not adhere to the chair material. These items need to be finished with something of a rubber base - it would make the entire package complete. Hard to believe this aspect is overlooked.

Strengths:
Weaknesses: My father complains that it doesn't fit or support his head comfortably. He is 5"9" tall and 155#'s. So I thought that this chair would be the proper size. He says that his head seems to be always going forward which is uncomfortable. The first day we tried to use it, it malfunctioned. I played with it and determined it must be in the electrical box and "spanked" it with the handle of a screw driver and it has worked ever since.

Strengths: comfortable/easy to operate/durable/very well made.

Strengths: You will love the firmness of the seat and the back support. It is not a chair for those who like to sink in when they sit which we DID NOT want. It is very attractive and does not look any different from a regular recliner meaning that we intend to keep and use it after the lift is no longer needed.

Strengths: lovely design, quality workmanship, ease of operation.
Weaknesses: Both my mother and father have a problem with the design of the padding in the lower lumbar region. The chair is beautiful, operates perfectly, but both my parents felt that there was too much padding at the very base of the back, and made them feel like they couldn't get deep enough into the seat. They felt like they were being pushed forward and the contour is not correct. I could see this bulge and spoke to one of your company representatives about this. They suggested that I go into a zipper access at the rear of the chair and remove some padding. I looked at this and saw how easy it would be to do, and did take out some of the stuffing. This made it better, but my Dad (5'8", 165 lbs.) still feels he can't get back far enough. I plan to try to adjust the shape a little more on my next visit home.

End User Desc: I am 91 years old and in good health, but it is hard for me to get out of a chair.
Strengths: It is a wonderful chair for anyone even slightly handicapped to have to sit in any time. I just love it! You really don't have to be handicapped to sit in it, and it is so easy to get out of. I really like the coiled spring on the remote control, so it can't drop all the way to the floor.
Weaknesses: It needs to have a little more padding behind my lower back, so I put a puffy pillow back there, but my lower back might not be the same place another person's lower back would be, so it might be hard to have more cushion where I need it, but that is a suggestion.

End User Desc: Husband recently underwent a third bilateral knee operation.
Strengths: The lift chair raises to a higher height than others I looked at. This allows my husband to get out of chair in an almost standing position with less stress on his knees. The seat width is adequate as well as seat depth. My husband is 6'1 " and it was important that the seat rise as high as it does. Control is easy to operate and raising and lowering the chair is smooth and slow.
Weaknesses: So far we have no significant complaints. The protective arm covers could be longer to cover length of arm as hours can be spent in the chair especially initially after surgery. The head rest fabric does not stay securely on the back of chair. Possibly a longer one or devise some way to affix it to chair. Other than these two minor issues the chair is great.

End User Desc: I purchased this chair for my mother, who is 85. She has had several strokes, and has difficuly walking and rising from a chair without help.
Strengths: Chair is an excellent size for a smaller person. Mom had another reclining chair that was simply too big for her. This chair supports her lower back much better and doesn't allow her to slump to one side as easily. The construction of the foot rest makes it possible for her to use her legs to straighten herself. This helps her keep upright and strenghthens her legs too. The seat depth is perfect for her, even though she is at the upper end of the recommended height range for a petite chair. It has been great for her, and the lift mechanism is easy to operate and so helpful! She loves the 3 positions and the color! And I loved the ease of ordering from the website.
Weaknesses: none so far

Strengths: IT'S WELL WORTH THE MONEY AND IT'S EASY TO USE.
Weaknesses: THE ONLY THING I SEE WRONG WITH THE CHAIR IS THE UP AND DOWN BUTTON FOR THE CHAIR. IT COULD BE MOUNTED ON THE INSIDE OF THE CHAIR SO THAT IT ISN'T ALWAYS FALLING OFF THE SIDE OFTHE CHAIR. THAT WOULD BE THE ONE THING THAT COULD BE IMPROVED ON.

End User Desc: for an incontinent 87 year old alzheimer's patient who's mostly bedridden
Strengths: Being vinyl makes for easier clean up after accidents. The lifting feature makes it easy to get her up and down without straining.
Weaknesses: The smaller version was too small, and this one is a little too big, so we have to put a pillow behind Mom's back so she won't have a sore back from how she has to sit in it. I would have marked the remote control as "lift" or "Recline" because the arrows can be somewhat confusing if you are holding the control wrong.
