Well built chair, quiet,
Reviewer: Rena W. from Cougar, WA (caregiver)
End User Desc: 61 years old, bad knees, over weigh, mental disability.

Strengths: the double lift, and the removable cushion

Weaknesses: the head rest cover needs to be attached to the chair.

Highly recommended for the price and the features.
Reviewer: COLLEEN V. from RICHMOND, CA (caregiver)
End User Desc: My elderly father has mobility problems and getting out of a chair is stressful for him. He loves this chair for the lift action and for the relaxing

Strengths: The chair handles his weight with ease, when lifting. The leg rest comforts his swollen legs nicely with its padding.

Weaknesses: a little sideways wobble keeps me near the chair when he sits.

I HAVE HAD GOOD SERVICE FROM THIS BRAND.
Reviewer: David L. from Hayward, WI
End User Desc: 73 year old male. Arthritic knees and shoulders. A must for getting up and down.

Strengths: Since I am a larger ,heavier than average man the heavy duty chair works great for me.

Weaknesses: The last H.D. chair I had was not as strongly built as this one.. I should not have the same break-down problems with this one. With some good welding and re-inforcing the last chair lasted over 6 years.

Very will made, quiet motor, looks good.
Reviewer: Nancy R. from Augusta, GA
End User Desc: 63, obese, bad knees

Strengths: Well made, sturdy, quiet motor. All in all this was well worth the money and $500 cheaper than in the store here in town.

Weaknesses: the only weakness I can think of is the head and arm covers should be velcro fastened or something. Seat is a little too hard.

End User Desc: My parents are in their 70s and have difficulty getting up from chairs. We bought 2 chairs as an anniversary gift for them. They are both over 250lb

Strengths: Heavy duty chairs.

Weaknesses: Arm pads fall off. Could use a longer foot rest...my mother's feet hang over the rest.

Reviewer: Henry P. from Chicago, IL (caregiver)

Strengths: It is very sturdy and very easy to use -- just one button that make it go up or down. Perfect for seniors with bad eyesight.

Weaknesses: None that I saw.

Strengths: Enables the cronicly ill to be able to rise in from the chair.

Weaknesses: The vinal is very slippery and the chair covers and headrest cover won't stay on. Blankets also slip off. That's the only negative.

A great chair.
Reviewer: Harold R. from Milan, MO
End User Desc: Bariatric 60 male, with inability to lay flat to sleep.

Strengths: All but two issues.

Weaknesses: The chair sets low, but will raise to the height necessary to get in and out without problems. #2, the width of the foot rest, is too short, Obese people have problems with the belly separating the legs to the extent that when sleping they are pushed off of the foor rest and lay on the exposed metal hinge, OUCH!. My old chair didn't do that. Otherwise a fine chair for the money.

perfect for older or handycap
Reviewer: Michael W. from Woodinville, WA
End User Desc:

Strengths: Can't answer until l put more milage on it.

Weaknesses: The pocket that holds the remote control is going to wearout quickly. There should have been giving more thought to the amount of useage this is being used.l would think that something thats being used so much should have a holder made of plastic and not alarge pocket thats being used for many other things.

Very convenient and helpful.
Reviewer: June H. from Wilmington, DE (caregiver)
End User Desc: He is my 60 year old son who was born blind and has down syndrome.

Strengths: It definately helps with getting my son up on his feet, he is @ 280 lbs and would need help being pulled up on his feet with his regular recliner. With this one we just push the remote and he is basically on his feet.

Weaknesses: I don't have any at this time.

need this same chair to fit the shorter patient
Reviewer: Toni H. from Faribault, MN
End User Desc: need to have ft elevated ost of the day. need the lift chair to assist standing. walk with cane always. 52 yr old female retired on disabilty.

Strengths: it is very quiet. the fabric covers the seat to the foot rest entirely. the seat width. it is very strudy.

Weaknesses: the buttons for heat and vibrations move if slightly bumped. it is too high and deep for the short person. the mid back of the chair does not have enough padding. end up with a sore neck. you offer no chairs for ppl 5 ft to 5'5" that go to 500#. the head rest cover is a bit too short.
