Powerful and fast -- the best one I've owned
Reviewer: LINDA H. from JACKSON, NJ
End User Desc: 60 yr. old female, RA, Lupus, Diabetes, CHF

Strengths: Easy assembly; powerful; handles easily; has great pick up; runs best on smooth surfaces, but have also used on grass with surprising efficiency.

Weaknesses: Heavy - I need help getting pieces in and out of car. I also wish there was a small portable manual that could be kept on board to identify the problem "beeps", etc. when they occur. Otherwise, completely satisfied. Love the 3 color options, too.

X'LENT SCOOTER, BUT TOO NOISY
Reviewer: Jill S. from Claremont, CA
End User Desc: Got as a back up for my husband, but I use it since injured in accident. Powerful and fairly fast; battery lasts a long time(I weigh about 100 lbs. u

Strengths: 1. The tiller is fantastic; can use either hand for forward and reverse; very comfortable and easy to use. 2. The distance it can go without a new charge - WOW! I spent 3 days running around the Disneyland Resort and still didn't need a charge. It goes forever. 3. Turns on a dime. 4. Powerful.

Weaknesses: 1. It is a very noisy scooter. It "rattles" when moving, except when going up hill;sounds like something is rattling inside the motor or wheels. Very embarrassing when using it, especially in quieter areas!!! Talked with a dealer and was told it is "normal". I probably won't be able to use on the job - too distracting/noisy! Bummer! Battery takes too long to recharge.

Strengths: Freedom to move about! Compact size allows me to go in and out of the tiny shops. The scooter navigates corners beautifully.

Gives me the opportunity to get out and go!
Reviewer: Patricia F. from Mexico, MO
End User Desc:

Strengths: This is GREAT! It dis-assembles and assembles with ease and is compact enough to fit into my Toyota Camry trunk leaving room for other items. It is just exactly what I was wanting so that I could get out to stores, malls, parks, etc. It is also very manuverable in the house and narrow enough to get through doorways with ease. The turn radius is great!

Weaknesses: The only weakness that I see is that the seat is a little uncomfortable. It certainly is not unbearable though. Believe me, the strengths far outweigh any weakness.

Reviewer: June V. from Houston, TX

Strengths: I love being portable. Being able to shop at stores that dont offer electric carts is wonderful. Being able to go places whithout feeling like a handicap to my husband or son (they used to push my wheelchair) is worth the entire price of the scooter. I love being able to walk my dogs. The battery seems to have plenty of charge, and charged up the first time in just a few hours. I've had no problems with tipping, or on inclines. All in all - I couldnt be happier. I think everybody needs one.

Weaknesses: The hardest part was trying to put it together. There were no instruction to put it together the first time, and the phone number was closed on the weekend. It takes up the entire back seat of my suv so it would be nice if it were more stackable. Truly no other complaints.

comfortable, long battery life
Reviewer: JEANNE Z. from HACIENDA HEIGHTS, CA
End User Desc:

Strengths: Easy to take apart. Can go all day without worry of battery going dead. Seat is very comfortable for a travel scooter. One piece battery is a good feature.

Weaknesses: Battery charger is not built into machine. Might be easy to lose or forget at home or hotel. Small pouch on back of seat not secure enough for storage of bulky charger. Bought 3-wheel model for better maneuverability, but it has a tendancy to tip while turning on even a minor slope.

Reviewer: Joan C. from York, PA
End User Desc: Age 60; knee problems

Strengths: Recently used the scooter at the Washington DC zoo which is for the most part a really "hilly" terrain, not to mention quite a large area. The scooter pulled the hills with absolutely no problems, covered the whole territory effortlessly and was still fully charged at the end of the day. What a joy to experience the zoo with our grandchild without the struggle of a wheelchair.

Weaknesses: Wish there was a way to move the feet from one side to the other without having the bottom of the steering column there (I know that's impossible) as even turning the seat, when you can't bend your knees much it is very hard to get the right leg to the left side.

appears to be a well made product
Reviewer: Dorothy R. from Leominster, MA
End User Desc: age over 70, need knee replacements, have neuropathy in feet and legs

Strengths: easy to assemble/disaassemble, drives well, turns easily, appears to be well consructed.

Weaknesses: seat does not rise high enough for long legged people, not enough space for legs and feet. Should not be recommended for anyone 300 lbs and 5 feet 7 and over. It's just too small.

End User Desc: I am a sixty-four year old obese female with severe arthritis, especially in my knees, that limits my standing and walking abilities.

Strengths: I bought it for ease of transport when traveling. So far it has beeb lovely around town. I expect to be able to manage with ease when I go to Hawaii next week! It comes apart and goes back together with ease and is light enough for me to manage by myself--to my son's relief!

Weaknesses: There was no attachment available for carrying my walker, like some models have. The walker does go over the back of the seat but looks a little awkward. Even so, I am very pleased.

I am finding this product very useful and convenient
Reviewer: Edward W. from Bristol, RI
End User Desc: Male, 69 years old. 2 back surgeries (lamonectomy) 2/06 & 4/06. Long distance walking is a problem. This travel scooter allows me to continue work

Strengths: 1. Its ease of assembly/disassembly 2. Its battery capacity/range 3. Its heavy duty carrying capacity and construction. My weight is approx. 230 lbs; I guess that translates to more range as it is significantly less than 325.

Weaknesses: Not a weakness, but a comment/suggested improvement: The speed limit control, limits only max. speed. I suggest that the motion control could be improved if the speed limit control also reduced the acceleration sensitivity. It takes some getting used to the feel of the control to avoid an unintended jump start. Maybe a non-linear profile for the control to allow slow starts with more deflection of the control lever(s).
