Weaknesses: trim parts that fall off. Basket too small. Parts are heavy for me to lift. bell is too soft to get anyone's attention (they would probably think it was a cell-phone)

Scooter is very easy to use for trips.
Reviewer: Kathleen M. from White Lake, MI
End User Desc: Female, age 64 with severe arthritis.

Strengths: Easy to use on gravel, up small inclines, and any normal walking area. It goes fast and battery holds a long charge. I used for 20 hours without a new charge.

Weaknesses: It takes 2 women or 1 man to take apart and put in trunk of car. I have severe arthritis and I need a helper. However, great for trips. I would have had to stay home without it.

Strengths: 4 wheels, basket in front and on the rear, swivel seat, arm rests, seat belt, with the 17ah battery I have more time to do chores.

Weaknesses: The anti-tip wheels are only 1 inch off the ground, so I get stuck a lot on uneven ground. When you max the weight of 300lbs, it goes much slower than the stated speed of 4 mph.

An outstanding transportable scooter that is easy to manage
Reviewer: michael S. from Loveland, OH
End User Desc: I am a 55 year old male that has polio. I walk with the aid of a walker and use my scooter for longer distances

Strengths: It is light weight but extremely well built. The turning radius is tight. The 4 wheel model adds to the stability of this scooter. It is easily disassembled and transports well. The handle bar and controls are very easy and comfortable to use. The life of a single battery charge is spectacular. The seat is extremely comfortable.

Excellent Transportable Scooter
Reviewer: David S. from Columbia, SC
End User Desc: 50 year old male with MS and limited ability to walk.

Strengths: The greatest strength of the Go-Go Elite is its ease of assembly and disassembly. It assembled right out of the box in about 10 minutes and after charging the battery it worked perfectly. In the short time that I have owned it it has been assembled multiple times with no dificulty.

Weaknesses: When you by any light weight scooter you will have to sacrifice the extras like heavy duty seats and and lights. This scooter is has no weaknesses that I have found.

Great scooter for the price
Reviewer: Robert H. from Albuquerque, NM (caregiver)
End User Desc: Has many health issues. Not able to walk far or to stand for more than a minute or so.

Strengths: Easy to take apart, (except seat)speed adjuster which allows for VERY SMOOTH starts and allows to be operated in close quarters. lIFE OF BATTERY. We have not recharged the batteries since purchase and have used it sereral times including to go up and down a steep grade at the lake while on vacation. Having done, that I would not recommend operating scooter on grades above what is recommended in USER MANUAL. A well built scooter overall. Wife really likes it.

Weaknesses: Hard ride when operated on other than smooth surfaces. Seat does not come off without a fight. Takes up the total back area of our small SUV, so unable to have passengers ride with us if we take the scooter.

Amazingly better in most ways than what I was used to with an old scooter of a different brand.
Reviewer: Lynx G. from Brockport, NY
End User Desc: Age 40, fibromyalgia for 20+ years, using scooter mostly for bad days and for long days when a lot of walking or standing would be too much.

Strengths: It's comfortable, zippy, lightweight, easy to dismantle and put together, easy to drive, good looking, it runs long, and the colors are fun to play around with. I really love it!

Weaknesses: I'm used to larger wheels, from riding an old scooter. Ground clearance measures higher on this new one, but smaller wheels have turned out to make it harder to go over uneven ground. The cover on top of the tiller is a little difficult to change, and it snaps off easily during transport. The first time we took it somewhere, the bottom tab broke off the blue one, and we can't figure out what bumped it. The second time, the bottom tab broke off the gray one I used to replace the blue one, and we still can't figure out how anything could have hit it, especially hard enough to break a tab. The other panels, which are Velcro attached, stay on just fine. The key also doesn't always work quite right for some reason. I have to press it a little in just the right way when I turn the scooter on, or it gets persnickety and beeps at me, refusing to run. Something is also going on with a back wheel, and it's too new for this to be happening. I'm going to have to get it looked at.

great, terrific for outdoors, stable, goes over rocks, grass, cracks,,dirt and remains stable, to tipping at all.
Reviewer: Erlene G. from Medford, OR
End User Desc: I am 69 year old female with post polio. I can walk without help (cane, brace, etc.) inside my home, etc. but cannot go more than a few blocks with us

Strengths: stability is wonderful. I rented 3 different three wheel P ride scooters in three different cities before buying the four wheel. Turning radius is very good - goes over small lip or edge in pavement, dirt, rocks, gravel without ever feeling it might tip. Easy to dismantle, quick to put together, holds battery charge forever!

Weaknesses: Truly, honestly have found none. Wish it was a little lighter - like the 3-wheel Prides that I rented but for out of doors on rough terraine, it is perfect.

Good scooter but get the 3-wheel model
Reviewer: Michael B. from Alexandria, VA
End User Desc: I am age 71 with lumbar spinal stenosis and can only walk a short distance. I have a full-size scooter but bought this one for travel.

Strengths: Some might appreciate/need the increased stability of the 4-wheel model (if indeed it is more stable). That is why I bought it but now I have questions whether I made the right decision. Scooter quality seems good.

Weaknesses: The battery is not strapped down and could become separated from the scooter in airline travel. The 4-wheel model has a MUCH WIDER turning radius than the 3-wheel model--I wish I had purchased the 3-wheel version.

Gives him an opportunity to have a better quality of life. Can get out and see more things
Reviewer: Olive C. from Petaluma, CA (caregiver)
End User Desc: 84 year old male with many medical issues; Unable to stand for more than a couple of minutes. Walks hunched over with a walker very very short dista

Strengths: we love the way the system breaks so easily.

Weaknesses: brochure states it breaks into 5 pieces (which it does). However the very light weight basket is one of the pieces. Would be better to say designed to break down into 4 pieces as the basket basically weighs nothing. It would give you a better expectation about the weight of the other 4 pieces.

Great for me.
Reviewer: Ruth A. from Monticello, IN
End User Desc: I'm 60, have nerve damage in my feet, love flea marketing but was very limited last 3 years due to my feet

Strengths: Very quick and easy to put together, parts are light enough for me to handle, easy to operate, impressed with inclines, small enough to go through any doorway, I love it!

Weaknesses: The seat slightly wobbles, the pins are almost too small for the holes - I heard one hit the cement I was on or I would of lost it, I purchased the large basket and was very disappointed - I thought it would be at least twice that size (way too small)especially for the price (that should be about an $8.00 item, not $56.00)
