The Invacare Mariner Rehab Shower Commode Chair has a corrosion-resistant aluminum frame and stainless steel hardware, making it ideal for shower use. These chairs fit over most standard and elongated bowls for over- the-toilet use. Featuring flip-back padded arms that lock down for safety, lift-off legrests with tool-free adjustable height footrests, and a four-position padded seat, these chairs provide fully-featured solutions to one's bathroom needs. They are lightweight, durable, have solid tires, and fold easily for transport or storage. Available in 16" or 18" seat widths.

End User Desc: 54 year old woman with congenital muscular dystrophy. I am a physician who prides herself on her independence.
Strengths: The sturdiness of the product and its collapsibility are strengths
Weaknesses: For me, the product would not work because it could not easily get around my toilet, it was too high for my feet to touch the floor while sitting on it, and I could not utilize the levers which keep the chair from moving without assistance. Therefore it was not something which would enable me to be independent.

Strengths: once I lift him to get him in it, it is good--he feels safe
Weaknesses: not adjustable for shorter people

End User Desc: I love the mariner bath chair. The only problem with it, my weight sinks the seat.
Strengths: Invacare products work very well.
Weaknesses: A few minor adjustments to the bath chair would be helpful. I weigh under 200 lbs. and the seat has caved in on three occasions. I replaced the seats each time. More support under the seat and this would not happen. I would be willing to pay for this change or add-on cost.

Strengths: Comfort of the overall chair, and how light it is.
Weaknesses: The bracket that locks down the chairs arms needs to be a stronger material to secure the integrity of the brackets safety over time.

If you have a problem with your Rehab Commode/Shower Chair, simply call one of our expert customer service representatives, and they will arrange for the necessary warranted parts to be sent to you. The warranty does not include any labor or shipping charges. Every effort will be made to return your mobility device to working condition in the shortest time possible.
The following parts will be repaired or replaced at our discretion, free of charge, for the following allowable time periods from the date of purchase.
3 Years:
All parts (to be free of defect in materials and workmanship)
*Upholstery, armpads and other parts that are subject to normal wear and tear do not apply.
All of the previous parts are covered for defect in material and/or workmanship. Any abuse or intentional misuse of the Rehab Commode/Shower Chair will void the warranty.
