The Maverick 3-Wheel POV by Drive Medical is a force to be reckoned with. It features a sleek and powerful design; perfect for this feature-rich scooter. The Maverick has a weight capacity of 400 pounds and a top speed of 9.5 miles-per-hour, allowing you to go the distance. The 19.5” air-filled, low-profile tires and 5” ground clearance allow you to drive over a variety of terrain with ease. The Maverick features a 62” turning radius and a 10° climbing angle. Driving the Maverick requires good hand control, as it drives differently than a smaller mobility scooter.
What Makes This Different
The Maverick 3-Wheel POV has a sport-style Captain’s seat, which swivels and features a reclining backrest and height-adjustable headrest. The padded armrests are easily adjusted to fit your comfort needs. The digital LED display has real-time feedback and is easy to see, thanks to the glare-reducing smoked windshield. The Maverick comes with motorcycle-inspired front and rear suspensions, ensuring you have the smoothest ride while on the road.
Why We Like It
The Maverick 3-Wheel POV is just as powerful as it looks. With a 35-mile drive range, this scooter is great for your neighborhood, small town or retirement community. The high-powered LED headlight, hazard lights and turn signals ensure that you stay safe while on-the-go. The rearview mirror and positioning belt come standard, adding to the safety features of the Maverick. The ergonomic handlebars and stylish controls add to the overall quality feel that the Maverick has to offer.
What You Need To Know When Ordering
The Maverick 3-Wheel POV is too big for indoor use, whether that is a home or assisted living facility. The Maverick’s large tires, 5” ground clearance and 62” turning radius make it ideal for the outdoors and around town. The Maverick is also too large for a vehicle lift, but its 35-mile drive range allows it to go through the neighborhood, around town or in your retirement community.
Because of the Maverick’s size, it ships via a freight company; arriving on a pallet. For user’s needing assistance in unpacking and setting up their Maverick, the White Glove Delivery service can help.
