Description

This Electric Patient Lift is one of the most economical, yet dependable, electric lifts available.  It charges from any AC outlet, and has a "Charge" light that shuts off automatically when batteries are charged to full capacity.  It also has a "low battery" beep that lets you know when the unit needs to be charged (when power drops below 50%).

This lift will work with 2 and 4 point slings, so it can accomodate a variety of transfer needs.  The Electric Patient Lift also has a manual lowering "emergency" button in case the battery power is depleted while the lift is in the raised position.  Plus, the mast and base of this unit fold for easy storage.

This lift is so simple...to use, charge, and store.  At such an affordable price, the Electric Patient Lift from Drive Medical is a great choice for home care.

End User Desc: 76 year old aunt has dementia. Fell and broke her hip. Will not be able to walk.

Strengths: I purchase this lift because I wanted something that was of quality. I am so pleased, especially when I received the medicare paid manual lift. Manual lift is not safe, it has no wheel brakes.

Reviewer: Richard A. from Chandler, AZ
End User Desc:

Strengths: This Drive patent lift is very easy to use and has a great lifting range. It is exactly what we needed.

Weaknesses: needs to have the charging plug on the side of the control box instead of the bottom, you have to get on your knees to see the plug in.

sturdy and strong lift
Reviewer: Philip M. from Hammonton, NJ (caregiver)
End User Desc: Male, age 54, muscular dystrophy

Strengths: Easily goes under any bed, base is just a couple inches high. Extends further over bed than regular manual hoyer- more reach.

Weaknesses: Not easy to get plugs plugged in all the way on first attempts. Should make a note in the instruction sheet to push the plugs up very hard when setting the lift up.
