    Overview

    The Vicair Adjuster X Cushion by Comfort Company provides maximum adjustable skin protection, with eight adjustable chambers featuring Comfort Cell technology. These air cells relieve pressure, help heal wounds and are incontinent-proof. The Vicair Adjuster X Cushion comes with two cover options: Stretch-Air and Comfort-Tek.
    What Makes This Different
    The Vicair Adjustable X Cushion is made up of the cover, a breathable mesh liner, and eight adjustable chambers with Comfort Cell air cells and a coccygeal insert for pelvic stability. Each set of compartments are designed to support a specific part: the middle two chambers in the back are designed to support the I.T.s, while the outer back chambers adjust for pelvic obliquity. On the front end, the middle two compartments adjust for anti-thrust, keeping the user in the chair, and the front two compartments adjust for seat-to-floor height.
    Why We Like It
    The Vicair Adjuster X Cushion’s cover options provide added support and comfort. The Stretch-Air cover is designed for patient comfort and heat dissipation. The polyurethane barrier also provides incontinence protection. The Comfort-Tek cover is easy-to-clean and designed to help with infection control, as well as incontinence protection. These cover options, paired with the maximum customizability of the cushion, provide a supportive, comfortable surface that protects the user’s skin.
    The Vicair Adjuster X Cushion has the option to upgrade the cover, by adding GlideWear technology, which adds a sheer-reducing pad to the back part of the cushion. This allows more movement for the user, as well as promoting healing and lowering the risk of decubitus ulcers in the high pressure areas.
