Overview of the Spryte Manual Stand Aid

The Spryte from Bestcare Lifts is a transport assist unit that requires and encourages strength and stability from the patient.  This stand aid keeps the patient active and engaged and is an affordable alternative to an electric stand aid.

What Make This Different
Spryte's design combines the benefits of a traditional walker and an electric stand assist in terms of function. By grasping the middle bar, the patient uses their own strength to pull themselves into position. The padded split seat swings out for loading and unloading and then swings back to form a comfortable and secure seat for transport. The Spryte is safe and easy to use for both the patient and caregiver.

Why We Like It
The base height is low so it can maneuver under furniture nicely.  Its compact size helps the caregiver assist the patient through narrow halls, doorways, etc.  We like its room-to-room capability which allows the patient better mobility and flexible options.

What You Need to Know When Ordering
Patients using the Spryte should have the arm strength to pull themselves forward and the leg strength to support their own weight. This unit ships within 1-2 business days.

**Formerly model number STA182

Lift does not maneuver on carpeted floor, would be perfect for non-carpet flooring
Reviewer: G. from Canton, IL (caregiver)

End User Desc: 64 y/o male that had two strokes, leaving him paralyzed on left side of his body

Strengths: Very easy to get patient into position for the transfer

Weaknesses: The wheels need to be re-worked to roll easily on carpet

Great for someone who has the strength to pull and push to stand.
Reviewer: M. from Juneau, AK (caregiver)

End User Desc: 82 year old woman with Parkinson's. Able to bear weight but not able to get to standing alone, not able to walk with walker.

Strengths: Maneuvers easily, provides secure place for someone to get "weight bearing" even when unable to walk or stand independently.

Weaknesses: Wheels are not "edge of rug" friendly, difficult to move over any small "lip" between floor surfaces. Coating on cross bars made assembly very difficult.
